Eucharist - First Holy Communion

First Communion is celebrated in each of the churches of the parish every year.

All children will complete a parish preparation programme prior to receiving their First Holy Communion.

The dates for the celebration of the Sacrament of First Holy Communion for 2026 are as follows:

9th May 2026

St. Patrick’s Church Johnstownbridge: Johnstownbridge First Holy Communion @ 11:00am.

St. Brigid’s Church Clogherinkoe: Clogherinkoe First Holy Communion @ 1:00pm.

16th May 2026

St. Mary’s Church Broadford: Broadford First Holy Communion @ 11:00am.

St. Mary’s Church Broadford: Cadamstown First Holy Communion @ 12:30pm.
