Tuesday, February 2nd is the Feast Day of Presentation of the Lord(Candlemas Day). The 10am Mass in Broadford Church will include a blessing of candles for church and home use.

Wednesday 3rd February is the Feast Day of St. Blaise. St. Blaise is the Patron Saint of people who suffer from throat ailments. The traditional blessing of throats will be incorporated into the 10am mass in Clogherinkoe Church.

This year Ash Wednesday falls on the 17th February. Ash Wednesday begins the Penitential Season of Lent. Blessed ashes will be distributed at the 10am Mass in Clogherinkoe Church and the 7.30pm Mass in Broadford Church.
